E-commerce & Marketing Manager

BERNADETTE is an Antwerp-based fashion label, founded in 2018 by creative mom-and-daughter duo Bernadette and Charlotte de Geyter. A shared vision of modern luxury characterizes their ready-to-wear and homeware collections. Fashion and interior merge seamlessly for BERNADETTE. The Role

As an e-commerce & marketing manager, you oversee BERNADETTE’s e-commerce by making sure everything around it runs smoothly. Your mind goes two ways, with one being social and creative, and the other being analytical and goal oriented.

You are passionate about sales and customer service and have a thorough understanding of the brand and the customer. You are excited about setting up new and thrilling physical events that go paired with digital marketing campaigns.

You are highly interested in everything that goes together with the sales performances, and are excited to investigate the merchandizing, timing, sell-through - in short - everything that involves the growth of the BERNADETTE's e-commerce.

With both the social and analytical aspects in mind, you are excited to take a leading role in every step of the process: from launching the products on the platform and setting up associated marketing campaigns, to driving sales and finally analyzing performances and taking everything to the next level.


1. Sales (via Shopify)

Product management

  • You are in charge of the e-comm buy
  • You make sure all products have the required assets (imagery, video, etc)
  • Merchandizing
  • Adding new products by editing the imagery, writing captions, inserting quantities, with all required information that involves launching new products
  • Monthly updates of our homepage and product pages

Sales reports

  • Weekly sell through reports
  • Anticipating on sales performances based on sell through reports
  • Analyses of best- and slow sellers, customer behavior, timings, locations etc
  • Forecasting: analytically built e-comm buys, based on sales metrics and BERNADETTE e-comm customer profile

Fulfilling orders, handling returns, and pre-orders

Customer service

  • You are the main contact for the customer via WhatsApp and e-mail
  • You create a loyal customer base
  • You are excited to organize events and treat the customer in new and exciting ways
  • You look for ways to attract new audiences

Weekly newsletters (via Mailchimp)

  • You look for new and thrilling concepts to promote products
  • You keep the marketing calendar up to date (promotions, holiday pushes, new products etc)
  • You write captions and insert imagery

2. Marketing

  • E-commerce metric analysis
  • Keyword analysis
  • SEO
  • Retention tactics
  • Creating loyal customer base: make one-time customers returning ones
  • UX optimization
  • Create omni channel strategy tailored to the brand and needs of its clients
  • Market research (trends, customer behavior, new digital possibilities etc)

  • Must have at least 2 years of job experience
  • Adaptable and comfortable within a fast-paced, ever-changing creative environment
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Dutch is a must
  • Related work experience is a plus
  • Higher education on Business management or similar
  • Experience in the Fashion/Design industry is a plus
  • Profound analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
