About
BERNADETTE is the Antwerp-based fashion label founded by mother-daughter duo Bernadette and Charlotte de Geyter.
The collections—spanning ready-to-wear, accessories, and homeware—embody a refined vision of modern luxury, where fashion and interior design converge effortlessly.
At the heart of BERNADETTE lies a commitment to timeless beauty that resonates across generations. Founded by a mother-daughter duo, the brand embodies an intergenerational dialogue, where classic elegance meets sleek modernity. This harmonious collaboration results in designs that surpass fleeting trends and speak to women who value individuality.
Celebrated for its signature hand-drawn botanical prints and use of color, BERNADETTE infuses craft and emotion into every piece. These designs embody a vibrant yet sophisticated aesthetic that elevates both fashion and homeware, making them instantly recognisable. With its rich archive of exclusive prints, the brand transcends the boundaries of a traditional fashion house, cultivating a way of life defined by authenticity, artistry, and optimism.
Beyond print, BERNADETTE's collections draw inspiration from classic couture, with an admiration for refined beauty found in construction, detailing, and the female silhouette. The founders keep top of mind the values of today’s woman—individuality, comfort, and self-expression. Their mission is to challenge traditional ideas of beauty and redefine femininity for the present and future—honoring the past while looking ahead.

Charlotte De Geyter
Creative director of BERNADETTE.
Charlotte is the creative director and visionary behind BERNADETTE. She brings a distinct eye for creating immersive worlds, overseeing every aesthetic decision—from initial concept to final execution. Her broad artistic interests fuel an ongoing process of exploration and research, shaping not only each collection but also the brand’s overall creative identity.
Charlotte honed her craft at Antwerp’s prestigious Royal Academy of Fine Arts, where she developed her signature style—bold use of color, hand-drawn prints, and outspoken silhouettes. Driven by a desire to share the unique mother-daughter narrative, she launched BERNADETTE in 2018, shortly after graduating, in creative partnership with her mother, Bernadette.
Her artistic process begins with drawing—brought to life both on paper and in digital form. The mood of each collection is set through her prints and use of color, often inspired by the quiet, everyday beauty she observes in nature.
Beyond her drawings, Charlotte draws from the intimate world of womanhood—both her own experiences and those of the women around her—keeping her vision deeply personal.

Bernadette De Geyter
Creative all-round consultant behind BERNADETTE.
While Charlotte serves as the creative director of BERNADETTE, her mother, Bernadette, plays a vital role as co-founder and creative consultant—bringing a seasoned, intuitive eye to the brand’s broader lifestyle vision.
Bernadette’s creative journey began early, nurtured by her mother’s passion for knitting and crocheting. This hands-on craftsmanship sparked a lifelong love of personal expression through fashion. Over the years, she has built a thoughtful archive of unique garments—a treasure trove of inspiration that continues to inform many of BERNADETTE’s designs.
Her expertise was further honed during her time as a buyer for Ralph Lauren, where she immersed herself in the integration of ready-to-wear fashion and homeware—a concept that deeply influenced her vision for BERNADETTE.
With a refined eye for styling, color, and textile selection, Bernadette brings timelessness to every creative discussion. As a full-time consultant, she collaborates closely with Charlotte—supporting the design process with insights into form, fabric, and the needs of the luxury clientele. Her approach blends sophistication with a playful spirit, complementing Charlotte’s vision while anchoring it in a sense of heritage.
